Golden Prairie News began publishing on May 1st, 1959. Since then we have served the areas of Macon, Moweaqua, and Assumption delivering our weekly newspaper. Our family has grown from 1,200 customers to a current organization of 2,100 local families and businesses.

Since the creation of our business we have expanded our services to include all avenues of printing, advertising, and various business services. Our staff now consists of 5 professionals in every range of expertise.

Our office is located at 301 South Chestnut, the main street in Assumption. We have drop areas in the following surrounding areas:

• Macon - G&S Super Market (Front Street)
